This is Fat Man, a.k.a. Mr. Piffles, a.k.a. Toad. He passed away after a stroke at age 16, but he’d traveled the world. Born in Colorado, he lived in Seattle, New Mexico, and Amsterdam before leaving this mortal coil. He was a wonderful HUGE boy, as was his brother.

Saturn knows that winter is coming. I came home last night to find him like this. He left this spot sometime this morning to wake me up. That failed, so he went back. Then he woke me up again, laid with me until I got out of bed to feed him, then went back to this spot. That pillow probably isn’t leaving until Summer.
